SCHENECTADY Northeast Parent & Child Society is seeking volunteers to help raise funds for the children's shelter building campaign by participating in the June 3 Freihofer's Community Walk.
Proceeds raised by Northeast walkers at the event from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Empire State Plaza will be used toward the construction of a new emergency shelter.
