Wght: Barker, Lee take triple medals
MANCHESTER, July 31 AAP - Australia's Natasha Barker and Seen (Seen) Lee have won triplesilver and bronze in the 53kg class of the women's weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games.
Barker took the silver in both the snatch and clean and jerk sections to also takethe overall silver while Lee was third in all three categories.
India's Sanamacha Chanu won the three gold medals with lifts of 82.5kg in the snatchand 100.0kg in the clean and jerk.
Barker lifted 77.5kg in the snatch and 97.5kg in the clean and jerk while Lee completedlifts of 75.0 and 87.5kg.
Australia has now won three gold, three silver and three bronze in the weightliftingfollowing Yourik Sarkisian's hat trick of gold in the men's 62kg yesterday.
